Nick’s Wine of the Week
A beautiful summer evening deserves a refreshing, crisp white wine on the patio.
This week, I’ve chosen this Marc Bredif Vouvray from Frederik. Don’t worry—I won’t go full Miles-from-Sideways with a ten-minute dissertation on the wine. But there are a few things worth knowing.
Vouvray is made from Chenin Blanc grapes grown in France’s Loire Valley and can range in style from semi-sweet to bone-dry. This particular bottle leans crisp, with vibrant acidity and mouthwatering tropical fruit notes. It’s perfect for easy summer sipping—especially alongside a chunk of Humbolt Fog goat cheese. Grab a bottle and enjoy.
