Look’s Market has been a Sioux Falls institution since 1883, when German immigrants Carl and August Look opened on 8th and Main in Downtown Sioux Falls. Family owned and operated, Look’s Marketplace brings a celebration of Good Food to our great city in a family friendly atmosphere.
BUTCHER
The foundation of Look’s Marketplace has been the butcher shop since the Looks brothers started offering fresh sausages in 1883. Our butchers are classically trained butchers and chefs. In the butcher shop, we offer fresh ground whole muscle beef, fresh original recipe sausages, fresh cut steaks from both Snake River Farms and Certified Angus Beef. The smoker is always rolling with hickory smoked ribs and half chickens daily.
BAKERY
A made from scratch bakery, our bakery uses a combination of classic and modern techniques to produce delicious breads for home use and for the bread in all of our restaurants. All of our cookies are hand made using high quality ingredients including Plugra Butter, Valrhona Chocolate, and organic dried fruits. Don’t forget the ice cream! All ice creams and sorbets are produced in store as well.
DELI
The deli at Look’s Marketplace is a slice to order deli featuring the delicious meats from Boar’s Head. In addition to the slicing meats from Boar’s Head, we feature salumi produced by small artisan makers from across the country. If you are looking to build that special cheese and charcuterie board, we cut to order a wide selection of cheese.
GROCERY
We want to be your 1 stop neighborhood market. Our grocery selection is designed with this in mind. From produce and pasta sauces to chips and chocolate, we have everything you need for a quick dinner when you’re on the go or for your special occasion. As a proud member of the Good Foods Merchants Collaborative, many of our products are sourced through this important organization.
WINES
Are you tired of walking into a wine shop and seeing the same labels that you see at the big box stores? Come on in and get an education from our wine buyer. She carefully curates wines that are unique, limited intervention, and also affordable. But if you do want one of those high end Napa bangers, we have those as well.

House made dough, sauce and sausages are fired to greatness in our wood fired pizza over. From midwest thin to Detroit brick, our pizzas are always FIRE.
